3D Scan
We digitize components and assemblies into highly accurate 3D models for inspection, documentation, manufacturing, and digital twin applications.
Reduce development time, lower costs, and gain accurate data for manufacturing, inspection, and engineering.
Our Services
-
Digital Twins: High-precision 3D scanning of components and assemblies, using markerless or marker-based workflows.
-
Inspection & Analysis: CAD comparison, color deviation maps, dimensional inspection, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) analysis.
-
Hardware & Software Training: Practical, hands-on training for portable CMMs, 3D scanners, PC-DMIS, and inspection software.
Data Capture to Meet Your Requirements
Available in our metrology lab or directly at your site.
Different scanning volumes, measurement ranges, and resolutions are selected to match your component size, accuracy requirements, and inspection tolerances.
From 3D scan to 3D print
Requirements for 3D Printing
-
The object must be completely captured from all sides. The mesh must be watertight, with no holes or open surfaces.
-
For high-quality printed parts, we recommend surface reconstruction or CAD reconstruction to create clean surfaces, sharp edges, and precise radii.
Benefits
-
Rapid production of prototypes and replacement parts
-
Cost-effective small-batch manufacturing
-
High flexibility for complex geometries
-
Reduced material waste
Supported File Formats
-
3D Scan Data: STL, OBJ, PLY (Aligned, cleaned, and optimized on request.)
-
CAD Models: STEP, IGES (Suitable for CAD design, manufacturing, and CAM applications.)
